Mr. Jorge Herrera was the grandfather of a Helping Hands member. He was known for quietly serving families in the small town where he worked, often bringing his children and nephews along so they could witness compassion in action. In doing so, he planted seeds of generosity that would take root for years to come.
Twenty-five years later, his children and nephews honored his legacy by returning to that same town with groceries, backpacks, toys, and other essential supplies. Helping Hands was grateful to partner in this meaningful outreach, continuing the legacy of a man whose simple acts of kindness left a lasting impact on an entire community.
